I just found out about a month ago I have modules in my lungs. I saw a lung Dr and she did a CT and an echocardiogram. She suggested to my Rheumatologist that I start Mycophenolate. I think it is helping because I can breath a little better. My Rheumatologist says it's a good drug for my Lupas as well. Good luck and prayers you get answers.

The interstitial lung disease. I was having bad stomach issues so my Primary Dr put me on Omeprazole. He said that if I get to much acid in my stomach when I sleep at night it can actually leak up into my lungs and cause scarring. I just wonder, do you have stomach acid issues?

I developed lung issues due to lupus as well. What I have is called interstitial lung disease. It’s a beast too🤦🏾‍♀️. I currently take alllllot of medication to include oxygen (4 liters), cellcept, plaquenil, and prednisone. I’ve been dealing with this for about 2 years.

I've had "stable" lung nodules for over 4 years (detected on CT for parathyroid gland). Apparently I have sarcoidosis (pulmonary). Not to add any stress on anyone, but the nodules flare up and cause cough and fatigue, but the nodules are also causing an increase in the 1, 25 (OH) Vit D, which in turn is causing high levels of calcium in my blood.

I don't think there is much stable about this whole thing.
