Does anyone get pains in their throat, jaw, ear, and neck as well as sore throat? I also have issues with thrush. I started treatment less than a month ago. Im confused as to if this is coming from the lupus, the medicine, or something totally different.

I do, but i also have TMJ. It seems when my lupus is affecting my joints, it triggers my TMJ to act up, resulting in ear and jaw pain.

Any immune suppressing drug can contribute to thrush. Just like a vaginal yeast infection it is caused from imbalances in bacteria vs yeast. Usually takes hold after a course of antibiotics.

Have you let your dr know the symptoms are worse? They may be able to help you or may want you to come in for a visit.

I have pain in my throat all the time especially around my glands and salivary glands, but no thrush. I do get the blisters in my mouth including the roof of my mouth and a sore tongue. I do have TMJ, so jaw pain is probably that. The rest is Lupus.

I get horrible ear pain/sores inside and outside of my ears right before a flare up. The same with sore throats. Sore throats was actually my first symptom when I got lupus.
