When I have a flare up it can last a few days to a few weeks. The rheumatologist puts me on low dose of steroids for 5 to 10 days and that seems to help bring me out of it. I have noticed that winters are very tough on me. One flare after another, the fatigue is so frustrating.

I feel like I’ve never really been out of flare, just varying degrees of intensity.

My flares last months. it really depends on your diet or your stress levels. Also its best to talk with your rheumatologist about being put on steroids. they help a lot but the side effects are sometimes not bearable. pray that you feel better.
