Does anyone else have supraclavicular swelling (swelling above your collarbone)? I have it on my right side. It never goes away but sometimes it is worse than other times. I also have tightness and pain on the right side of my neck, my right shoulder and numbness/pain in my right hand at times. I have had a an ultrasound and a CT scan on the swelling and it shows nothing. The doctor does not know what it is.

I had my thyroid removed in 2014. I’ve tried Synthroid, Levothyroxine, and a few others. The only thyroid medicine that works for me is Titosint. I was allergic to the fillers in the other medicines. Tirosint has less fillers and is a gel pill making it have less side effects. Maybe see your doctor and try it?

When my thyroid is acting up (Hashimotos) I get these symptoms. I’ve been doing alot of Lupus research lately and have learned that Hashimoto autoimmune disease is more often than not, a part of Lupus.

Following this thread. I have the same thing but I’m my left side. I’ve been to the ER, Urgent Care, doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist and no one knows what it is. They all say it’s not normal but they don’t know what it is. No one is willing to do more than X-rays and physical therapy for it so far. PT only aggravates the swelling so I can’t go for it anymore. I get the swelling all around my clavicle, my shoulder, neck, up to my ear and goes up the scalp now. For awhile it was only the shoulder but it has gotten worse over the past year. I wish someone knew what was going on with this. My Rheumatologist said it is not my Rheumatoid Arthritis though.

I have the exact same thing. No one knows what it is but my rheumatologist says she has three other patients with the exact same thing as well so I have to assume it is just another wacky lupus thing
