A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭

I recieved my most recent labs and had a few questions.
C3 and C4 are both on the low end of normal.
Blood detected in urine.
Low urine gravity.
Low blood glucose.
High blood PTH.
Very low Vitamin D.
Low blood phosphorus.
Low Amylase and low Lipase.

Are these common in lupus? I have read that low amylase and lipase could be a result of kidney damage. As well as high PTH along with the blood in my urine and low gravity. Could this mean that I am in early stages of kidney involvement??

Yes sounds like since you have blood in urine also its your kidneys but as of what's the cause we don't know as of yet!? I'd see nephrologist and bring those labs with you so they can say hey it was nothing or it was something. Better to go early than too late!
