I am having a debate with myself for the last year about Plaquenil the doctor wants me to start taking it. To be honest I am scared to take any meds. I have not taken any medications for 3 years and went all natural and it has mostly helped. I was told to decide about the benefits and the risks and how it will help me. Call your pharmacist or doctor, they can give you something. Praying for you. Plaquenil works great for me!

I started taking the pLaquenil about a 2 months ago. It’s supposed to help with the fatigue. So far it hasn’t. I’m exhausted, even though I have a good day now and then.
As for side effects I don’t suffer from any. I do have to see an optemologist every 6 months though as part of the treatment.
Anyone else out there have answers for their specific symptoms?

Ugh, the nose ulcers!! See if you can get a prescription for cold sores. It alleviated mine.

I agree saline nose spray helps and is very inexpensive. I have Sjogren's disease and I take Pilocarpin which works quickly and keeps my mouth moist which lessens mouth sores. Hang in there.
