Mine are like clockwork. By around 3:00pm, my fever starts to climb and I’m feeling crummy before I know it. I’m wondering if anyone else experiences this.
OMG! I just posted about this very thing! When I’m in a flare, my hands and feet ache more than usual. The fever starts between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. Every single day of the flare. Also at that time for some reason my shoulders and neck become super achy. It feels worse than “tech neck”.
Yes! 4:30pm is my time! The fever signals the beginning of a flare-up for me. The way I know it's lupus and not something else is that it will be low-grade (99.5 or so), and I won't experience other flu-like symptoms like congestion. I will also often have a slight headache, and start developing other symptoms of a flare soon afterward (a burning hot rash on my face or elsewhere on my upper body, joint pain and/or swelling, etc).
Thank you to EVERYONE for chiming in! I can’t tell you how overwhelmed I am to meet you all and to hear your stories. I have been living with these diseases in something of an isolated way for over a decade now. Not knowing a single other person struggling with autoimmune stuff. Not one! So running this stuff past you all is SO helpful. It makes me feel a little less crazy and a little less alone. *sniff* Not that I’m happy that you are all going through it too mind you. I wish I could wave a wand and make us ALL better!! It’s just that it’s so nice to finally know that I’m not the only one experiencing these things. 🤦🏼♀️
My usual temp is about 96.5 as well. I wonder about the implications of that. 🤔
I usually take Turneric twice a day (once in the morning, once in the evening) with coconut milk. The body absorbs it better when it's taken with something fatty (like milk). I also will take it before or at the same time I have anything sugary to counteract the inflammation (like if I eat a cookie or a piece of cake/pie on rare occasions).
@A MyLupusTeam Member The little things I do to keep it away or at least make the symptoms not so severe are mostly relaxing, keeping hydrated with a lot of cool water, and taking Turmeric/Ginger supplements for the inflammation and pain
