Hi Calli, I had this treatment for over 2 years ( moving up? From oral methotrexate ) I felt considerably better throughout and blood / liver function tests were all ok. Had to move on to Mycophenolate
eventually as my Lupus symptoms worsened, I think because of the added complications off my cancer. As someone previously said, we all react differently to all Meds and combinations, but from my experience, it would be worth a try.

Wishing you all the very best with it and you'd hope your Dr wouldn't be suggesting it if he didn't think it was in your best interests.
Ps I found it one of the easiest medications to come off. Love, Hugs
and prayers x

The truth is, you need to just go under medline plus, look at side effects and talk to your Dr. There are many OTC meds and such you cannot take while on this also. I chose not to take methotrexate for my lupus, but only your Dr and your own research as your own health advocate can make that decision.

Calli i took the pill for about 6 mos and wasnt really helping just thinned my hair so my dr decided to give me the injections and within a fee days i became sicker. Nausea, vomiting, hair loss and plan feeling like crap. I ended up losing 30+ lbs while on it. I quit it after about 6 mos and within about a month i started feeling better. I hope this mwdicine helps you and you dont have the reaction that i did. Praying for ya sister! 🥰❤️

I had to go of the methotrexate because i need surgery! So i was off it 12 weeks! But before that i was totally pain free except my hands! It was a God sent! But because i was off of it my lupus got worse so now its taken about a yeAr of benlysta infusions & upping my methotrexate doses a few time but i 🤞think were getting close to my meds combo/ doses! Will see if a few monthes!
Good luck i hope it helps you Calli🙏🦋💕

I went on it because the lupus came fully out of remission and was causing organ damage. I have done the blood tests, no big deal. I got substantially worse stomach pain with the pills than with the injections. My liver enzymes are better now than they have been in the last 2 years.
