Hey guys, still learning my symptoms that come with flares. I’ve been having signs of a flare this past week and have been pushing through. Today, I was at work and suddenly my whole body felt like it was shaking on the inside. My hands were trembling and I felt weak all over. This lasted quite a while and still feel a bit shaky. Have any of you guys experienced this?!

I have lupus and I shake internally for no reason it seems. Almost like I could either faint or that im very nervous, when I know that isnt the case. I usually have to lay down and sleep to make it stop.

Yes yes I thought I was crazy I'm so sorry y'all have this problem but I am so glad someone said something about this problem. I didn't know what was happening so glad to know it's probably my nasty old lupus causing this. I love this site

Yes! You are NOT alone. It freaked me out because I’ve gotten like that before but it only lasted a few minutes. This time it lasted all day until I fell asleep and woke up the next morning I was fine ❤️

I get the shakes too, I don’t think it’s my medicine any longer, it’s definitely not low blood sugar. I get low sodium, but that gives me more of a weak dizzy feeling and I just take some salt water and it resolves within 10 minutes. I get hand tremors and those awful feeling tremors inside my body , especially evident in my neck and shoulder region. I mention this to my rheumatologist lately and she worked me up for some muscle diseases, got all the results this week and they were negative!!!! Yay. I’ve been diagnosed with SLE. It’s more likely to happen if I am very stressed about something, but it can also happen when I’m not stressed about anything. I usually try to take some extra rest and wait for it to pass, it’s lasted as long as three or four days.
