Hiya gang, been experiencing a lot of tightness and pain 😫 my left calf for some time now! It does not appear to be red or swollen. No visible varicose veins. It is almost like a dull heavy feeling?Just hurts constantly and my toes👣 go numb. Any ideas💡? Anyone have something similar. I am trying a compression sock🧦, but so far it just feels more uncomfortable and my toes feel more numb. Any help is appreciated!🙏

I agree with most... I find some magnesium supplements help... I take them at night because my Rhemy said it can help relax your muscles so you can sleep... I also take fish oil because I read something about it helping. There is also a possibility of neuropathy so have you doc check you out and ask them about the supplements. The magnesium I take also has calcium, and zinc plus D3... blessings to you...

Getting tested is vital. For me- calf pain ALWAYS means low potassium! I’ve had EVERYTHING tested & it’s ALWAYS low potassium!! EMG, Neuro testing- everything is fine. For me? It’s ALWAYS low potassium. Good luck in finding what it is for you!!!!

Vasculitis causes similar pain for me. And lupus inflammation makes it worse. I also get charley horses & my doc just told me that the lasix I take causes that. I have been taking potassium, calcium & magnesium for years. The tightness & pain you're describing could be caused by so many things; some of them serious and some not. I'd probably see my doctor just to be sure. They can do an ultrasound of your leg to r/o blood clot, etc. I've had to do that too. So sorry you're experiencing this.

Thanks for the tip on compression hose.
My PT taught me to fold the top of the socks down to just above the toe, then insert foot and pull up by the folded over part.
When foot is situated correctly in the sock, pull the other half up. Makes it much easier. Take them off by reversing the process.
