Has anyone else experienced severe leg and ankle pain while on prednisone? If so what did you do? It happens during the night and is excruciating.

Weird. I have this without the steriod. The steriod takes it away. How long have you been on it?

I also think it's the Lupus causing your pain....not the prednisone. Most doctors don't want you on it long term but it does help in flares etc.

I’ve been on 25mg daily for about two months now. Yeah its really weird... it doesnt hurt with movement so its not like my normal flare up pain. It almost feels like a nerve pain?

I have severe leg pain, but I think it's the lupus, although I am on prednisone. Mine only hurt if I'm standing though and when I sit or lay down it eases up.
