Does anyone else have constant pain in shoulder blades hips and lower back? I’ve read lupus causes pain predominantly in the extremities but there is plenty of conflicting information which confuses me :(

No I haven't. I mostly take turmeric and ginger. Eat walnuts, pineapple, kale, avocado, etc. For meds. I take ibuprofen, benadryl, and aleve. No aspirin products. Follow up with rheumy in 2 weeks.
I get a lot of relief from the pain in my extremities when I take gabapentin/Neurontin. I find for me that that is a medication that has basically no side effects, it just works well. I don’t try to rely on my rheumatologist for pain relief. I think it’s best to find a pain management doctor, especially now with all of the opioid crisis rules. My right shoulder can be killing me, my right hip was recently hurting for weeks, it hurts so bad into the front in my stomach and threw the back into my lower back, my pain management doctor gave me a simple injection into the bursa and within two days I was 100% pain-free and expect to stay that way for about six months. I love my pain management doctor because he focuses on things like in office injections and not only giving me pain relievingv my right shoulder can be killing me, my right hip was recently hurting for weeks, it hurts so bad into the front in my stomach and through the back into my lower back, my pain management doctor gave me a simple injection into the bursa and within two days I was 100% pain-free and expect to stay that way for about six months. Y’all selling jacks in office the right side of the back of my neck to relieve headaches, as I mentioned my shoulder, he would inject my knee, he’s just amazing. If the first pain management doctor UC doesn’t give you relief, find another, as they are all not created equal. The first two guys I saw were terrible took me all the way to the surgery center for injections that didn’t even work. This doctor will inject me in his office and it works like a dream. Is board certified in emergency medicine and pain management medicine and he’s in my opinion a genius! His name is Robert Bien .
Yep, constant pain in my lower back, neck, head, and knees with very frequent pain in shoulder blades, elbows, wrists, hands, and feet.
I have pain in my extremities, part of lupus if it gets bad see your doctor the thing with taking so many pain medicine that the doctors would give you had side effects. Gabapentin works good for some, for me it made me sick and weight gain I honestly I use CBD oil under tongue from LUPA VITA and I take LUPA VITA vitamin they are holistic and I am now in Remission first time in 30 years. I do still take the blood pressure and a few other for Thyroid and Lipid's. So when I pain I take Aleve Back and Muscle Pain, it works great for me.
Take care and I hope you feel better.
Blessings
That's a nightmare. Shoulder arm knee neck fingers feet and everything else. It just goes on. I am sorry to say only the ones that are going through it can relate to our story. Medication do help can't sleep. If anyone can give us some kind of advice I will really appreciate it. Praying for everyone out there. Just hang in. Thing can get better.
