Newly diagnosed with SLE. Struggling with fatigue and working full time. Any recommendations on how to rest in a fast paced environment?
Take advantage of every break period and lunch break allowed. Get away from your desk/work station if you can. If you can sit rather than stand, do so.
If you can work flexible hours, schedule it so your commute to work is less stressful. (I work from home when I can, but the ability to do that depends on what kind of job you have.) Be proactive, be prepared, so you can reduce stress on the job.
Develop a good working relationship with your co-workers or team. Volunteer to do jobs they don't like in exchange for them doing more physically-demanding jobs for you. Like the saying goes "work smarter, not harder".
Don't take worries or work home from the office.
If y’all work under fluorescent bulbs it will make have a flare up. Giggle it and it will tell you they can give off uv rays just like the sun. Before I had to quit I was always felt so tired and bad.
My doctor sent me this article about naltrexone use for fatigue. I am using it and is help.
