Fewer symptoms, more good days. Not sure if that would qualify as remission but it would matter to me.

I kind of agree with everyone answer. Its when levels are normal again, no flare ups for some time and you pretty much living your normal life. So I guess Lupus can go into remission but can always come back.

blood work is in normal range and no symptoms of that illness. Is how I describe it. I'm in remission form Lupus overlaps for 15 yrs. I still have fibromyalgia and polymyositis symptoms and positive blood work.

Your numbers from your labs will fall beneath a certain count. Lachelle one more thing about Cytoxan.....when you are finished with tx, if you don't already have an endocrinologist, get one. Chemotherapy of any kind is going to make your thyroid sluggish and you will need to take Levothyroxine, probably 50 micrograins. When your thyroid is off kilter, so is the universe, but the Rx makes it all go back to normal. But start early with the Endo, to head off feeling blechhhh.😘
