Does anyone have dark, red irritated eyelids? Not a rash or infection, just uncomfortable eyelids. The dark part may be plaquenil, but the redness and irritation I just don’t know.

Hi love, not sure about the dark part lass, but I get dry and itchy eye lids but they are part and parcel of my dry eye, I usually use eye gel during the day and eye ointment at night and that usually helps, but I also sadly have to use a steroid cream and then apply a barrier cream if it gets really bad, sore, crispy... but I do try and use the barrier cream on it's own if it seems to be flaring a little so as to try and prevent using the steroid cream too often, Hope this helps Monika love, sadly as you know Lupus, Sjogren's and their horrible buddies play nasty and effect us all different and respond different to medication, fingers crossed you kick this symptoms butt and know what to do when it shows it's nasty face!!! Stay strong love x
