Been in plaquenil for 2 months. I think its kicking in. Recently I have noticed a very upset belly and ringing in my ears but my joint pain had really calmed down.🙏 Anyone elss havd these issues? I was on before but stopped because I got vertigo. Does was much higher though.

I’ve had ringing in my ears for a long time- way before Lupus. My doctor told me it was from long term use of ibuprofen. Who knows. Maybe inflammation, too? But everyone experiences medication and side effects differently.

I have ringing in the ears as well but i had that before starting the plaquenil so it may be caused by something else, try talking to your doctor about it

Ive been on it three years and i think when i first started i would have diarrhea but it slowly went away as my body adjusted. Always make sure you eat when you take it. The ringing in the ears idk about.

It could be so please don’t think I’m saying it’s not. I feel Lupus can attack anything and cause all kinds of problems. With the over lapping of symptoms, you know your body best. This is my experience. I took ibuprofen and had steroid injections in my back many times over the years. It could be a result of that. I just live with it. Lol
