Maybe taking lamoprozole (I think that’s correct spelling) Gastroparesis resistant tablets before taking your other meds. Bear in mind the presidone, plaquenil (which here in the U.K. is known as hydroxychloroquine. I take this one and it can be harsh. It suppressed your immune system. I came of this too and noticed symptoms re appearing 🥺 I Hope day there’s a cure so we don’t have to take any medications. I’m taking over 15 a day because of my other complex health needs and I just want to cry so bad because it’s so tough take so many meds I’m just fed up :(

I believe there is a difference with the generic and the brand name plaquenil. I think it has to do with the fillers in the generic version. I looked it up. They recommend the brand name if you have stomach issues with the generic one.

Was taking Plaquenil for 27yrs had to stop taking it because it has become toxic for my eyes. Dr, told me if i continue to take this medicine i will go blind, thats why when taking Plaquenil you have to have your eyes tested every six months.I also have a lot of stomach issues and i am in pain every day, going to see my gastro Dr. in two weeks, however he keeps telling me that i have taken almost every medication he can think to give me and nothing helps. This thing called Lupus is something else, i try to pray and hope that the Dr.'s will find something to help us. Hope this information helps you and others who take Plaquenil, Please be aware of this

I have been taking Plaquenil for 27 yrs, as of a week ago Dr.'s-took me off, because Plaquenil has become toxic for my eyes. If i continue to take this medicine i might lose my eye sight. That is the downfall to Plaquenil, thats why you have to have your eyes checked every 6 months. Please make sure you have your eyes checked every six months if you continue to take this medication. I hope this helps. To everyone who takes Plaquenil, please be aware of this.

I also was taking Plaquenil for 26 yrs, last month the Ophthamologist took me off of it due to the fact it had become toxic to my eyes. She told me if i continue to take it i could go blind. So please have your eyes checked every six months. I was also told for my weight they were giving me to large a dose, 200mg twice a day, be very careful.
