Use saline solution spray in nostrils. Try it 3X everyday for a week. It may help, can't hurt. @A MyLupusTeam Member 💗
I never ask that question cause i always smell smoke and my husband say i lossing it glad is just not me lol
My very first migraine began when someone came into my office who smelled of smoke. Strong smoke smell, stayed all day, through the headache and the herringbone pattern in my eyes. I was dumbfounded,, since it was my first migraine and I didn't know they did that. When my hubby explained it to me, he said I was lucky. His first migraine was just after stepping in dog poop!!!
One time I smelled gas coming out from our floor heater. Everyone thought I was crazy. We called out PG&E to come look at it. The technician also said I was nuts. I asked him to pull out that device, the gas detector. Sure enough I was right. So if that's the sort of smoke you smell, get it checked.
Our cleaning lady was here and told us our vacuum smells like it is going to catch on fire. Neither hubby nor myself smell it. We will probably get it checked out anyway.
I smell ammonia if I am so dehydrated I am causing my kidneys problems. That really is a thing.
Hope this helps.
I haven’t noticed a smoke smell but have noticed a big difference in how things smell now to me. Ex. I love my makeup but the past several months it has such a strong smell I can’t stand to put it on. It smells like dirt.
Olfactory disorder: A loss in the ability to smell or a change in the way odors are perceived. Usually these types of scents detected which are not actually present is misinterpreted in the olfactory system, or sense of smell. This is the sensory system used for smelling (olfaction). This is a common occurence especially with those who are exposed to the particular smell in question or have been in the past. In rare cases this disorder is related to Nervous system diseases such as MS.
