My doctor just started me on Cellcept (generic). For those of you it has helped how long did you have to take it before you noticed feeling better?

Do you have kidney involvement? I was on the medication for several years and it put my lupus into remission, now off of the drug and have been treatment free for close to 2 years. I did not feel ill when I was placed on the med and had no trouble tolerating it. My doctor started me on 2000mg but had to decrease it to 1000mg, 500mg due to low WBC counts. Now off of it completely with stable lupus to date. Best of luck!

I am on Mycophenolate and i have been taking this for about 13 months. I feel so much better than I had before. At first it was not working very well, so I talked to my doctor and we made the dose higher.

I would ask rheumatologist or doctor to check your blood work and ask the doctor if there other medications for current Lupus symptoms.

I’ve have taken moncophenolate (cellcept) for a long time also. I have blood work regularly, sometimes I feel well on meds . I feel some symptoms that I have due Lupus never get better.
Talking to Rheumatologist has helped 😊

Praying for you
