I've been on meth o for a while now. Take 15mg week I don't notice any side effects and I don't know any helping. I also have pudental nerve damage fibro and neuropathy so I don't know what can help me but nothing is. Just do some research like you're doing and no more than your doctor. Have a good day

I was prescribed it, then quickly Un-prescribed .. And put on Mycophenolate aka cellcept..because methotrexate takes longer calm flares,. but once you are on it for awhile you will eventually see results..

However it works very well for one of my friends fighting breast cancer...And a coworker whom takes it and he has cancer as well. it’s a catchall medication.. With a chemo element.. therefore if your planning to have children .. read the fine print.. and pepper your pharmacist with as many questions as you can, as for they are the experts on medication.. and can provide you with the most solid, neutral information on the pros and cons..

Not the pharmacy tech, speak to the pharmacist 😉

Hope this helps

@A MyLupusTeam Member it was the only thing that got me out of one of my biggest flares. It sucked during but ive been at near remission levels ever since its been 2 years.

Medicine affects everyone so differently that advice honestly doesnt help much
Make sure to drink lots of water, get folic acid supplements prescribed, and find what nausea remedies work for you like ginger or peppermint.

I honestly believe all the issues were worth it for me. I also did AIP to find food triggers to and both together have been a lifesaver
