Has anyone heard of castor oil packs? I heard about them for the first time today, so I Google it and found tons of info. They are recommended by naturopaths. Wondered if anyone here has ever tried them. I'd like to hear from people to see if there is any benefit.
Detoxify and reduce inflammation. I have a patient who swears by them, she is under the care of a naturopath. I've been a nurse for 28 years and had never heard of them
Castor oil, flannel, plastic wrap or plastic bag and a hot water bottle. There are lots of you tube videos. They do recommend talking to your doc about doing it as you do absorb the oil.
I keep hearing about them as well and that they are really good for ovarian cyst/cramps/female issues too. I definitely want to try, I need to maybe watch a demo video or something though. You just need castor oil?
What are they supposed to do?
