Members responding to the question about hair loss and scalp visibility shared a variety of practical tips they have personally tried. Several members recommended switching from biotin to silica supplements, noting that silica supports new hair growth and that results can take 6 to 8 weeks, with one member sharing a friend's visible regrowth along the hairline after just six weeks. A recurring theme was consistency, with members also suggesting black castor oil, ketoconazole shampoo, and Rogaine for women, while noting any treatment must be maintained long-term to keep results.

My dermatologist prescribed me some medication, along with Ketoconazole Shampoo, 2% for tropical application; and I purchase OTC Rogaine - Women formula (use all medications as directed). I've been doing this routine for over 2 years and I'm happy with my results. FYI: Just know that any treatment plan you start, you will have to always do it, or your hair will slowly start shedding again.

Silica is available most stores that carry biotin and other supplements. Prayers it will give signs of success. You may need to take it 6-8 weeks before you see results. A friend had C19. Her hair began breaking off and falling out. She began the silica and 6 weeks later she has new hair she can see along her hairline.

Try Silica instead of Biotin Hair, skin, nails are made up of Silica. Biotin is a protein derivative that enhances the growth. If you are losing hair, etc you need to encourage new growth with the silica. I pray you will see some improvement

i've been taking silica for over a month now and i can see improvements in my nails and hair. My nails are long and much stronger. My hair has grown over an inch in such short time. The Biotin and Collagen did not help me at all.
