I had horrific leg pain and RLS for over a year to the point that I was in tears every night. When I was not up pacing I would wrap my legs up in a heating blanket and pray for sleep. Nights in pain are the longest nights ever. I really don’t know how or why my legs got to the point they are now with tolerable pain. Also I have no idea how I got through those days, they all just ran together. I tried Mirapex, Requip, Neurontin and combinations of all 3. Holistic solutions, I did all but stand on my head and chant. It was a time where I felt so desperate. I don’t think any of the medications helped I think I usually fell asleep from exhaustion. I did stop taking Lexapro which is known to exacerbate RLS. Also make sure your potassium is not low-that can cause leg cramping or for it to be worse. I feel for you and hope you get relief soon.
Talk to your rheumatologist about it.
