Usually happens in the middle of the night or morning. Randomly

Lupus effects cortisol.
I think my thermostat issue is from the meds.
Because of all the wired and random symptoms it takes awhile to get a diagnosis. My PCP convinced me that all the stuff was “nothing” or normal or all in my head or not as bad as I was making it out to be.
Prayers for answers.

Yes. Another symptom that I did not know was related to Lupus. I'm only on week 2 of knowing I have it, but I randomly break out into a cold sweat, have diarrhea, and then either peel my clothes off bc I feel like I'm on fire, or start chattering my teeth I get so cold. Usually both hot and cold in waves. I told my husband I feel like "my thermostat is broken". Everyday I'm looking back in my mind of these weird random things that have been going on since b4 I got diagnosis, and this is almost a daily issue for me w the hot/colds and loose stool.

It’s happens to me frequently. The hot cold is mostly likely directly related to your stomach issues, at least mine are. Sometimes it just happens. But I switched to a plant based diet with one chest meal a week and I’ve been dmfeeling much better. Take a look at your diet, take a few things out, and a few things in, and keep a food diary to track your symptoms with your food intake.
