Does anyone use a chiropractor? If so, does it help your pain? Does it involve deep tissue massage? Or just an adjustment? Would love some feedback. TIA💜
I go for massages weekly. It sure helps
I do use a chiropractor and i do get relief from it. Prior to reading your question i woke thinking i need to see chiro ... friday night i sat on bleachers for 4 hours and painted a wall ystrday! Maybe relief from chiro depends on if your pain comes from everyday lupus joint pain or something additional you have done to irritate the exsisting pain. Lesson learned for me ... no painting , no bleachers.
My SPINECARE DOC HAS HELPED ME AND MY SON. I would check the reviews. And see if you can find a good one. I've also, tried acupuncture thats helped .Its been hard getting back to the doctor with Covid affecting so, many places.
I was blessed to find a great Chiropracter in 2020. He uses activator for adjustments. It’s just a light tap. Afterwards I lie on the roller table. It took time to see results but I had so many imbalances. Combined with PT it helped me avoid a two level cervical fusion, a disc surgery and an ankle surgery. Some of these might just be postponed, maybe for years but pain and function is so much better. He does a great job of answering my endless questions, explaining in detail the anatomy, why something works, why something hurts,… I saw him regularly for five months and finally progressed to just as needed. I also do PT and have a massage every 1-2 months. I need to tackle the issues multiple ways to see relief and progress.
Too I think stretches help a lot and physical therapy
