That's a good question. For me they are the same except for the skin rash and a cold usually only lasts 10 days roughly a flare if not treated can and has lasted months

I have no pain behind the eyeballs but yesterday had a slightly elevated fever (above my low normal temp), was freezing cold and had chills, stomach issues and no appetite. Today I'm quite hungry again but slight fever.
