I have a geographical tongue and the ulcers appear on the tip and sides of my tongue. They look like my regular skin rashes their just on the tongue.
Any one else?
Get them sometimes with bad flare ups my primary orders is prescription mouth wash and it makes they go away. Ask your primary or lupus dr
I have had an entire mouthful of canker sores at several points in my life, I have used salt water mix. I have swished it 4-6 times daily. It is much less expensive than a presciption. Most people have all the ingrediants at home.
As for lips, when I begin noticing the corners of my mouth feeling as if is burning, i use an antibiotic ointment on my lips. It does not taste good but it is meant for healing. All the best.
It runs in my family on my Mother's side. I never had until right before I was diagnosed with lupus. It's so sensitive to everything! Pineapple, spicy stuff, acidic things like lemon lime, ketchup. I also have Fibro and IBS so I can't really it all those things. When I do I pay for it!!
1 capful of peroxide to 2 capful of water I use it as a rinse when I get the lupus sores in my mouth that’s what I do taste nasty but it works
I also use the arm and hammer baking soda toothpaste.
All the other toothpaste and mouth wash makes my teeth very sensitive.
Everyone’s lupus reacts Duffy what works for me might not work for you it’s all trial and error to find what helps!!!
I have had ulcers on the inside if my jaws before, I just gargle with salt water.
