Two out of four kiddos have tested positive for Covid. So far, the rest of us are negative, so we have isolated them.
I am due for my methotrexate injection tonight, but I am concerned it would negate my ability to stave off the virus.
The odds of me not getting it are very low.
I can’t get a hold of my dr or rheumatologist bc it’s the weekend, so thought I’d try my luck here.
Blessings to all.
Good morning Jodie
Sorry your son’s tested positive for Covid. I would take your shot to protect yourself. I’m taking hydroxylchloroquine I was around Michellle and her mother and both got Covid but I didn’t. We were all vaccinated and booster shots.Did you and your family get vaccinated? Praying that you or anyone else in your family gets it.🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think that is wise. Your doc knows you best. “Doc in the box” generally do not understand the whole you!
One or two days won’t make a big difference. If it was me, I would hold off and discuss with my doc on Monday. Your doc understands your situation the best, including all your medical history.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sons testing Positive. but when I got Covid-19 in December My rheumatologist told me to stop the Methotrexate immediately! Until I got better (I was triple vaxed too). I'm sure missing one shot until you talk to your Doctor on Monday isn't going to hurt but you definitely don't need your immune system compromised any more than what it already is.
Praying for your Family Jodie.
Love ya❤️
I'll tell you what my Rheumatology doctor said when 1/2 of his office had covid and I went home after benlysta infusion and tested positive. It's not gonna matter much and he recommended I got the medication I needed instead of having an overactive immune response.
He was right I had covid, got the injection, and experienced minor flu-like symptoms.
