Long-term Treatment Celestone (betamethasone) Or Other Steroids Anyone ?
Does anyone take steroid injections or by mouth to just simply exist and be able to get out of bed? Please any experience or suggestions.
I'm on 10mg of Prednisone. Also just started back taking the Benlysta injection once a week.
@HenryYe I was told to not eat all those things. That's why I said I avoid those. The other blood thinners are not good for me I react to them. And I do eat some, I just have to be careful of the amount. Like everything, its a balancing act! You keep fighting too.
I've been taking steroids for over 30 years. Yes, I have some osteoarthritis but without it I can't move. It keeps my inflammation under control.
My first Rheumatologist was Prednisone /Steroid prescription happy. I didn't know Any better and was on Steroids for over 4 years! My current rheumatologist told me that she's pretty sure that's what caused my Osteoporosis as well.
Now she only Prescribes it if I'm in a bad Flare
It does help but Long term effects are pretty bad.
Hang in there ❤️
