Anyone else NOT have the mylar rash and subsequently people/Dr did not think you had lupus?
Can't seem to find any posting where lupus patient is not experiencing skin concerns.
Thank you for your reply!
I have seen a doctor that states it's probably more UCTD (undifferentiated connective tissue disease) than it is Lupus bc I don't have rash(s) But according to the ACR (American college rheumatology) criteria list I meet the requirements... Are doctors just not wanting to definitively diagnose so therefore they say UCTD or Fibromyalgia??
Oh, but I did get Raynaud's diagnosed 🤔
I just wish that doctors would understand that everyone is different and one specific physical indicator doesn’t mean that a person would not qualify to have Lupus. My indication for Lupus showed in some blood work when I was going to see my Hematologist.
I have never had the mylar rash. I do however keep a red looking rash on my neck and upper chest. It isn't raised or scaly. My skin just looks sunburned. I have had lupus for 9 years.
I don't have the rashes either.
I don’t get the rash either. I do get a rash on my lower right arm that extends to my hand
