Does anyone have this Atherosclerotic Aorta, i was having pain on my chest and my husband took me to the ER. Thats the only symtom i've had, is chest pain. Please let me know if anyone has this and what your symtoms do you have.
I don't have that, but do have Is coronary artery disease, partially caused by genetics, but also from the Lupus. I highly recommend not waiting and getting it checked. Find a cardiologist as soon as possible.
My leaking mitral valve and aorta valve where pickup on an medicine stress test. Then a echocardiogram showed more. Last my cardiologist did a echo where he went down my esophagus to do with an internal echo of the heart mitral valve which is severe and I'm waiting for surgery on it now.
@A MyLupusTeam Member how was yours diagnosed? I had an EKG suggestive of inferior inschemia then had an echo which was essentially normal then a stress test which was inconclusive because the Dr who did the study states there seems to be blood flow defect but it was hard to determine because apparently 10% of people don't take the radioactive dye in enough and he felt the study may have been skewed and can't definitively rule it out or in. Wearing a 5 day zio patch now because my heart's been all over the place and Dr says we could do a cardiac cat scan but I don't know if it's worth it because I'm tired of tests. What was your experience?
I don't have that but have aorta valve leaking. I'm waiting for my surgery on my mitral valve leaking. Praying for you 🙏😇🙏😘
