Benedryl really helps me with itching. I take 2 tablets in the am (50 mg) and that’s the dosage for the day. It has been such a relief. Check with your dr. to make sure it doesn’t affect/react with other meds 😊

I have a rash on my back that itches and the heat just makes it worse. I completely understand.

Yes I had that horrible itch on both my lower legs. I would scratch and made it worse. I then put ice on them which helped, but the saw my dermatologist and he prescribed Triamcinolone 0.1% cream. It worked the same day. No more problems. It I feel it may be coming back, I just apply the cream Good luck to you. And try to keep skin moist as lupus dries us. Even the eyes so I have drops my Opthomologist gave me.

You probably need a doctor to look at it. If you dont think youll get in in time. Take a picture. I have rashes on lower leg sometimes. But mine is vasculitis so it can be more than just a rash. They gave me steroid cream for mine.
