I got my treatment today. Depends on your insurance and your comfort level they have shots instead of getting IV. I do IV. Usually takes 6 months before noticing any improvement. They usually will order it once every two weeks for 3 to 4 doses and then monthly. Prior to getting it my doctors have ordered Tylenol and Zyrtec or Tylenol and Claritin overall it seems to help me I've been doing it for years and if there's any side effects I can't relate that it's from the been less than it's not something else. There is a copay assistance program if you have trouble paying for it as well. Good luck
