EP thank you I do have bloating after eating and gas and sharp pain middle stomach sometimes on the upper side. I think its gas stuck inside. I took pepcid complete and doing Brat diet for now and no more greasy spicy dairy for me for a while. I am waiting to get schedule for gastro. I also feel like something stuck in my throat sometimes and swallowing they said its part of my anxiety or silent acid reflux.
I am dealing with this issue for a while now and having anxiety to go to gastro to do endoscopy or even camera through your mouth. Hugs

I have acid reflux which is gurdwara painful on 3 meds have a hernia they won't repair cause of my respiratory illness and age

Acid reflux you can feel it back up into your throat. I am more prone to gastritis, which is pain in the pit of the stomach. You can try gaviscon tablets, get them at CVS, works well. If it’s a chronic condition,they can do an endoscopy, which is nothing, yes they put you to sleep. Doesn’t hurt, it’s a beautiful nap. But stay calm. They can also prescribe a proton inhibitor, if it’s bad, like omeprazole, pepsid, nexium.

I have barrets esophagus which an egd found. No discomfort with it. I also have gallstones found with an ultrasound.

Hanna I had my gallbladder removed in my 20s as well. I am dealing with similar symptoms especially after I eat. My symptoms got worse this past week. Just started Plaquenil 10 days ago and wondering if that is causing some of these symptoms.
I called my gastro today and she is out til Tuesday. I am going to call my rheumatologist on Monday.
As far as endoscopy, I have had several over the last 30 years and you don’t feel anything.
