Have any of you experienced being hoarse for longer than 3 weeks (not due to acid reflux)?
If so, does it go away? Did you have to take meds?
Cough drops, gargle with salt water, honey and lemon in tea, cinnamon and honey
Thank you for answering. I, too, am drying out from all of the meds and vitamins. No matter how much water I drink, it never feels like it is enough. I am fighting viruses, fatigue, aches, pains, depression, and so much more. My voice is shot. It hurts to speak at times. I absolutely abhor prednisone and I do not want to take another Z-pack.
*sigh*
Better days are ahead. I will keep that mindset.
I have had this in the past but having Lupus SLE and other autoimmune diseases, I was diagnosed with Sjorgrens. I have had to learn to sip a drink constantly all day long. I also keep lozengers with me all the time also to keep my throat coated. I have no moisture in my mouth even with products made to keep your mouth moist. It has gotten worse over time so I have to drink more. My skin is very day as well, so have to put lotion on it all the time. So many autoimmune diseases make my skin dry inside and out so I have to do what is in my capability to help fight it. I don't get as hoarse as much. I thought it was from my medication, which is some of it but mostly it is from my autoimmune diseases. Hugs and prayers. God bless.
Ms. Michelle, please share how you are treating your heartburn and acid reflux naturally. I'm so tired of taking medicine everyday for all of my ailments.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
