I have high blood pressure and mild heart enlargement related to lupus nephritis. We can get a wide variety of heart issues, including coronary artery disease.

When younger, I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse after having strep throat several times in one year. Just weird flutters when I got tired and worked too much. Recent cardiologist said it was a calcified Mital valve, something my G'Dad had. Recently got some beta blockers, for a different issue Tremors, from my Neurologist. Helps both. I'm not convinced it's calcification. Looking for a new Cardiologist. Best wishes on your test (I hate those) 🤗

Yes. I have Libman Sacks.
In my case it caused my aortic valve to have to be replaced due to it being worn and lupus attacked it.
They found that out after they got inside to replace it. It started by a regurgitation of the valve.
My mitral valve is iffy as well which they keep an eye on every year.
Lupus can cause other heart problems too.
Pays to keep an eye on it and all organs for that matter.
