Does anyone get sever swelling in these areas? Or know what it is? It causes so much pressure around the shoulder, neck, ears under the jaw area, and the left side of my head. It makes it hard to breathe and causes headaches. It makes my left eye feel like there is pressure built up on the corner outside of my eye. The pain sometimes just makes me cry because I can’t function when it’s that bad. I don’t know what it is, or just why it happens. I’ve seen doctors for it, been to urgent care for… read more
I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. I would suggest maybe trying to work your lymph nodes. Go onto YT and look up a Dr by the name of Perry Nickelston. Look for his video on the BIG 6. He shows you a basic and simple lymph routine that you can do daily. I started doing this and noticed a huge difference in many things. My face went down, my neck and under my ears as well as my jaw stopped hurting. The pressure above and under my eyes went away. I didn't hurt as bad around my shoulders or neck anymore. It's now a part of my morning routine. I won't usually go a day w/out doing it. I also drink warm lemon water with just a pebble of celtic sea salt daily. I've noticed my energy level has gone up and I just feel better.
I hope that helps and will be praying for you.
I REALLY don’t have an answer but just throwing some stuff out here that you might consider researching more. Just trying to give you some starting points. ( See below… sorry for the long list),
I hope you find the answer you need soon. If you’re thinking about going to ER, you should stop and get going! Who cares that you probably can’t explain it… just say, I may be having a heart attack!! … and they’ll get right on it! Lol! But seriously ER doctors are much better at listening and figuring out issues…albeit quick! At the very least go to your Dr. or urgent care and keep pushing for answers.
Anyways, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Feel better soon!

@A MyLupusTeam Member both my daughter and my grandson have issues with their lymph nodes so just want to thank you for that REALLY GOOD INFO! I think this will be very helpful!
And the lemon water, I’ll…
@A MyLupusTeam Member it really does seem to be. This is so interesting. I think this is something I’m going to have to share with doctors. I don’t think it’s just a coincidence. If anyone has ways to deal with the swelling I am all ears.
Happy Sunday
Thank you soooo sooo more the information. I appreciate it. I’ll be looking into them. And you’re right, it’s time to go see a doctor again about it. Much love and appreciation
