Ya could have a calcium build up in your ears? Could be inflammation? Could be a sinus thing? Ya could be waking up with a low sugar that could also cause swoonie, dizzy feelings. Try getting up slow, go from flat to sitting slightly propped up, then to a sitting position then finally to a standing position. Ya could also keep juice next to your bed , try a sip or two then get movin?🤔

My first thought was sinus issues since it seems to have come on suddenly.
To all the other suggestions I would add place a bp cuff/machine next to where you are lying (the night before if it’s only happening in the morning. Then take your blood pressure lying down, sitting up, standing and three minutes later still standing.
If you don’t have maybe a neighbor or family could loan you one. If you find you’re having low BP track your BP and pulse over a number of days and take it with you when you see doc

Oh my goodness. I am going through an episode currently..I believe that mine is from serious stress that I recently experienced. Although, I have had it at least four times within the last three years. The medication, Meclizine that was prescribed didn't help much. I am going through pt, which has helped twice before. I can only think that it is a secondary condition of lupus. No one has ever said what causes it.

I have had vertigo a couple of times but that was before I was diagnosed with lupus. I was getting many dizzy spells because of the medication I was on. I hope you get better soon. It can be very uncomfortable 😣.

Hi Kerry. My physical therapist does vestibular maneuvers. Which have been helpful..it usually snaps the crystals back in place
(inner ear canels).this time it's taking more than one visit
