Mt Olive, Ms

After having a temp of 100 for a few days with infected tooth which I had pulled and tryingto get over a urolift procedure, my temp has been 96 for a 1 1/2 days, is this normal. Never noticed it being that low before.

It isn't unusual for older adults to have temperatures in the 96 range, David, but if you don't feel well, please see your doctor.

Hi David. Ever since I acquired Lupus close to 20 yrs ago, my temperature is always low at 96 degrees. Never higher than that. Neither my GP or Rheumatologist have ever said anything about it being bad. Hope you infected tooth is doing better.

I would suspect it is a normal fluctuation as your body has been fighting the infection, but definitely check in w/ your doctor if you start to feel unwell. My "normal" body temp hangs out around 96-97 degrees; I have Reynauds, so it literally goes hand in hand, I guess - either that or I'm part reptile ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hope you feel better soon!
