I have been on Meloxicam for forever for my Lupus and fibromyalgia pain. I also have struggled with high blood pressure and finding to the correct blood pressure medicine. My PCP took me completely off my Meloxicam and my blood pressure is much better now. The problem is I am in such bad pain now. Has others had this problem? Waiting for the next step to help with the pain.

Adding a tablespoon of Tumeric a day. to my diet helped a lot for the joint pain and various inflammations. I suggest the kind you find in the spice section and not the capsules in the vitamin section. But I also ta J e Neurontin for the pain that comes from the Lupus and Fibromyalgia.

I have lupus along with hypertension and lots of pain. Recently I stopped eating foods that have more than 3-4 ingredients. Eliminated inflammatory foods. After two months my blood pressure has decreased and I am only taking half the dose I used too. I rarely have to take Tylenol for pain and have lost 7 pounds. I have more energy and am able to exercise 3-4 days a week for short periods. It’s just clean eating, can’t believe the difference it is making.
