2 years ago I was treated for Giant cell arterities of my right eye and had to be on large amounts of steroids to keep my vision. Also, I had spontaneous double vision in my left eye which the neurologist diagnosed as cranial nerve damage. No "why" specifically given.

You are so generous of heart to reply in such details. I did have a miscarriage and was warned not to get pregnant again. Lupus is so complex and with unknown effects. Though not scientifically proven my feeling is the Giant Cell arteritis and
cranial nerve are a result of the antiphosolipid syndrome.
Again, thank you, and hope you are having a good day. Susan

SBV, I'm not aware (as an internal medicine doctor) of a connection between vasculitis and positive anti-cardiolipin antibody, but I'd ask your rheumatologist, too.
