I have high blood pressure and am on medications to keep it in check. However my pulse rate has been very very low lately. My PCP has finally agreed to send me to a cardiologist to get my heart checked out, because I am concerned there is something going on. Have any of you encountered issues with a low pulse rate related to Lupus?

Yes, it was suggested I get one of those and I do think it is a good idea. Thank you for making that suggestion as well. I think it will make me feel better to monitor my heart more closely.

I haven’t had a low pulse rate but I have a high bpm, the rhuemy nurses all freak out but I’ve been tested by GP and she just thinks it’s a high one when I’m active because my resting is low enough. She did recommend getting an Apple Watch to keep track of it, which I did and it gave me peace of mind…fitbits do the same I believe
