Members connected over tingling and numbness in their toes and hands, sharing that many were told it could be lupus-related neuropathy, Raynaud's syndrome, or even a side effect of medications like Plaquenil or Topamax. Several members shared practical tips such as wearing heated gloves and double socks for Raynaud's, applying Voltaren or Biofreeze for sharp foot pain, and changing positions with gentle stretches to ease numbness. A recurring theme was the exhaustion of managing multiple conditions and the hesitation to mention new symptoms to doctors, but members encouraged each other to keep advocating for themselves.

@A MyLupusTeam Member I get that kind of pain in random areas of my feet when I lay down in bed. My podiatrist had no answer. I rub Voltaren or Biofreeze on the pain areas as soon as they occur. It does help.

I just never realized that. I have had a mild form of lupus since the beginning with no organ involvement. I mainly experience joint pain and muscle pain and fatigue when I have a flare.

I have Reynards and when the weather is cold I see it trying to act up. I also get numbness in my feet when they are too cold. So, I double sock it and wear compression splints for my hands. I also get numbness in my feet when I over exercise in one setting. When that happens I go sit down and it goes away. I am getting over a flare and when my lungs are back in shape I will ask my doctor for a Neurology consult. I am just tired of testing right now and just give my body a chance to heal from Long Covid and flare. God bless

Yes, I have mostly at bedtime. Many people with lupus experience neuropathy.

Frankie, I also deal with neuropathy. If I am sitting in the same position too long, my toes on my left side go numb. Changing positions and some gentle lumbar stretches helps.
