Dr. Ralph Waldo, a physician in Carmel, Indiana, says he often recommends chia seeds and chia seed water. He explains, "Chia seeds are high in fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which can aid digestion, reduce inflammation and support heart health."
Also, I use the chia seeds in the gelatin, salads, and more.

- Fiber: Found in whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, fresh fruits, and veggies, fiber is essential for digestive health.
- Versatility: Chia seeds can be used in various recipes, such as the Berry Chia Yogurt Bowl, which is a nutritious make-ahead breakfast option.

For a detailed recipe, you can refer to the Berry Chia Yogurt Bowl:

- Instructions:
1. Blend milk, yogurt, strawberries, honey, zest, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
2. Pour into bowls or containers and stir in chia seeds.

Thanks, MC! I try to use chia and flaxseeds in my morning oatmeal, and they are best absorbed when ground. the whole seeds often just pass through our GI tract and are eliminated.
