Just diagnosed with mild lupus can it get worse over time.
Thank you, my friend for always being there and listening to me. It really makes a difference to have someone to understand that what i'm going through. I feel like sometimes the doctors just don't understand how you feel and always act like
Your compliants are not related to lupus. I can't understand that I have researched the different symptoms. And i've had my doctor tell me that's some of those are not symptoms of lupus. Like the horrible fatigue and malaise that I have about mid-afternoon. I wear down , nausea, headache. I've had Gi difficulty Bladder, an intrasticial cystis, flares and pelvic Floor muscle spasms, he says this has nothing to do with lupus. I have researched that it And I feel like it is connected with the lupus. Also have swelling and ankles. She said that would not relate to lupus as well. Just being on my feet vascular problems. It's going to take me time to understand things.I'm just a little confused. Thank you for replying to my message and always being there. You're such a sweet, precious person. I hope you have a great day. Happy New Year and stay healthy .i am also on hydroxychlorquin 2 times a day
Yes, mild lupus can become severe over time, as I've experienced. EXCELLENT self-care is key, Wendy, and we can't become casual about getting enough rest, UV protection, etc.
I was diagnosed with a form of lupus, because I didn't meet all the markers. A little over a year later I met all the markers, and its progressively getting worse. Plus I was just diagnost with fibermyalga.
Remember taking care of yourself is job #1.
Happy new year
Yes, lupus can progress over time, but it varies greatly from person to person. In mild cases, medication can often keep lupus in check, and symptoms may not progress or progress very slowly. However, permanent damage can accumulate depending on which tissues are affected. It's important to work closely with your doctor to Show Full Answer
Unfortunate it to say, but I think we are the experts when it comes to lupus. It sure isn't the medical providers. A lot of times the medical providers talk out both sides of their mouths.
- one side they say that they don't anything about lupus.
- The other side of the mouth when you complain about issues, oh no that's not a symptom.
So which is it, do you know or not know. Please give us a straight answer for once. For once show us somesort of compassion and comfort. Please act human around us.
