My WBC is at 4.3 low. I'm not sure what this means. Hope you all have a good day/evening.

Oh really? πŸ˜ƒπŸ€— @A MyLupusTeam Member what exactly can be done? Please share your knowledge with us, I was told I have a condition which destroys my red blood cells long before their natural demise, autoimmune induced hemolytic anemia due to premature red blood cell destruction. The immature new blood cells called reticulocytes can't carry enough oxygen and nutrients to the body's organs. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Yes, I have intermittently had low lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. Lupus can cause our immune system to destroy our red blood cells (rarely), white blood cells, or platelets. These are all treatable problems.

I do they diagnosed me with normocytic normochromic anemia. Now today we will see what this new hematologist says. They did a bone marrow biopsy. I'm wondering if Cleveland clinic will want to do their own. We'll see today what they think.
