It's not crazy at all - puffy eyes and dark circles are common experiences with lupus, especially during flares or when you're feeling fatigued. These symptoms can be more noticeable when you're tired or not feeling well, which is common during lupus flares. While specific makeup brands aren't mentioned in the search results, it's important to discuss your skin concerns with a dermatologist. They can recommend appropriate makeup products that won't irritate your skin or worsen your symptoms. Since lupus can make skin more sensitive, especially to UV light, look for makeup products that include SPF protection and are designed for sensitive skin.

For temporary relief of puffiness, try using cold compresses. Additionally, maintaining good sleep habits can help minimize the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, your healthcare provider might want to evaluate if they're related to your lupus activity or medications.

@A MyLupusTeam Member.. can’t wear makeup bought from the store because I break out in a rash and get dry red patches. Since I’m home most of the time I don’t wear anything at all. If I go out in public I use organic corn flour with organic beet powder to give it a nice rosy coloring, just mix the two together to your liking. Since it doesn’t have any toxic colorings or other weird stuff in it, it’s actually good for your face and has good coverage. For the eye area you can purchase an organic eye concealer from the heath food store and just put on very little, a little goes a long way.
