Omaha, NE

Took a shower last night, used a washcloth to exfoliate my legs and arms, lotioned and put a brand new pair of black leggings on and woke up with my legs looking like this. Normally these spots are white to light gray, I attribute it to dry skin and inflammation, I can scratch them and they flake off some. Anyone have this happen. My primary keeps telling me they are age spots. I am not sure that is the case?🤔

Dear CALLI, GOOD MORNING just read your post and saw your rash,I have a simular rash on my chest and a bit on my breast,if hot water bothers you, you could possibly be allergic to the sun,I found Out the hard way and wear the hard way,go figure I live in Tucson Az and absolutely have to wear SPF clothing, all I did is got on Google and typed in SPF clothing and ordered stuff from there,it's a bit pricey but it does help, hope you find out what happened to your skin, take care and GOD BLESS YOU

@A MyLupusTeam Member Can you provide a brand name or send a link from Amazon for the shirts & leggings? Thanks for the tip.💜

What @A MyLupusTeam Member asked was my first thought too. I think that lupus causes all of us to have sensitive skin.

With lupus, you shouldn't use exfoliates ever, even for your body. We aren't even able to get a professional facial or anything that pulls the skin.

@A MyLupusTeam Member..So many things can contribute to waking up with these spots. Hope they disappear soon and you get relief, but a visit to your dermatologist would be a good idea. Feel better soon friend!
