Hey guys I contacted my drs and digestive disease . They told me I need to get a EGD done in July to determine what’s going on. But that’s too far from now . I’m also contacting rheumatology. I’m praying I get some answers . I also been having trouble swallowing as well . But I’m thinking I have strep too but I know that can’t be the case of that blood in my saliva. But I am going to the dr .

It's good that you're being proactive about your health by contacting multiple doctors. However, if you're experiencing blood in your saliva and feel July is too long to wait, you should contact your rheumatologist immediately. They are most familiar with your lupus history and treatment plan and can best determine if this requires more urgent attention.

If your symptoms are severe or worsen, don't hesitate to seek immediate medical care. Your rheumatologist may be able to adjust your current treatment plan or recommend more immediate interventions while you wait for your scheduled procedure. To help your doctors better understand your situation, keep detailed notes about your symptoms including:
- When the blood appeared
- How often it occurs
- What makes it better or worse
- Any other symptoms you're experiencing
- How it's affecting your daily activities

This information will be valuable for both your rheumatologist and during your future EGD appointment.

Babygirl08, I'm surprised your doctor didn't consider this an urgent matter to get you in right away. I pray 🙏 that it doesn't get worse. Take care 🙂 💕
