Members connected over whether fatigue can cause lightheadedness when bending over, with many sharing that fatigue combined with dehydration and low blood pressure are common culprits. Several members recommended checking blood pressure regularly, especially for orthostatic hypotension, and suggested drinking half your body weight in ounces of water daily along with electrolytes like BodyBio E-lyte to help with balance. A recurring theme was the importance of staying hydrated, monitoring blood pressure, and being cautious with electrolytes if blood pressure runs high.

Take your BP when you feel this way. I have orthostatic hypotension. It will hit someone from bending over, other times up to a few minutes after I stand up from a reclined or seated position.
I keep well hydrated and make sure I get enough electrolytes, especially sodium. I add a capful of BodyBio E-lyte to one of my morning drinks especially in summer.
If you don’t have CKD the general advice is to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces. For example for someone 135 lbs that would be 67.5 ounces.

Please drink more water, Teresa, especially in this incredibly hot summer we're having across the country.
